Headway PMS01 is one of the most versatile tires out there. It's an all-weather (4 seasons) tire with a 3-peaked mountain/snowflake (3PMSF or Alpine) and M+S symbols, which makes it legal for all BC highways in winter.
It offers good handling in heavy rain and snowfall and performs well in a wide range of temperatures, from hot summer days all the way to slightly below zero.
About the Manufacturer
Doublestar is more than a century old and one of the largest manufacturers in Asia. They own multiple tire brands, i.e. Doublestar, Headway, Everton, Nordexx, and even high-end Kumho Tires. Most you can find in our store.
In 2018, they purchased a controlling stake in Kumho Tire, a South Korean manufacturer of high-end tires well known in North America for high quality and ranked among the world's top 10 tire enterprises.
That provided Doublestar access to Kumho's technologies, and the quality of their tires dramatically increased.
As a result, their tires manufactured under Chinese brands (Doublestar, Headway, Everton, Nordexx) end up of similar quality as Kumho tires but at a much lower price point - a win-win for our customers.
